Cendré In Paris

Cendré In Paris

While in Paris capturing our latest campaign for the Emmeline Watch, Nicola found herself drawn to the city’s slower moments – morning rituals by the river, an afternoon spent drifting between galleries and gardens, evenings where the lines between indulgence and inspiration blurred.

Through her eyes, Paris is not a checklist – it’s a feeling. A quiet sense of rhythm and refinement. Below, she shares the places that shaped her stay – an edit of experiences that echoed the essence of Emmeline: enduring, understated, and entirely romantic.

STAY

Hotel Rochechouart
Settle into the city with a stay at Hotel Rochechouart – a Parisian classic perched at the edge of Montmartre. With Art Deco interiors and a rooftop bar overlooking the Sacré-Cœur, it’s an ideal blend of heritage and modern charm.

SEE

Morning walk by the Seine
Before call times and camera rolls, Nicola always carved out a walk along the Seine. With the city not yet fully awake, it became her favourite time of day – passing booksellers, watching the water catch the light, and letting the stillness shape her creative pace.

Visit Musée National Picasso–Paris
For a dose of quiet inspiration, she made time for the Musée National Picasso. Tucked away in the Marais, its light-filled rooms and layered works felt like a pause – art that didn’t shout, but still stayed with her long after.

SHOP

A day along Rue de Grenelle
For those drawn to understated elegance, Rue de Grenelle is a must. Think curated boutiques, timeless tailoring, and niche fragrance houses all set against the backdrop of Left Bank charm. Nicola’s shopping route is less about trend and more about lasting pieces – an edit of refinement.

Officine Universelle Buly
Inside Officine Universelle Buly, every detail felt intentional – from wax-sealed skincare to inkwells and scent ceramics. Nicola described it as less a store, more a museum of ritual – one where craftsmanship is everything.

Zara Home, Rue de Rennes
For interiors, she made a detour to Zara Home. On this side of the world, even the chain stores feel elevated – glassware, linen, and scent diffusers that looked lifted from a still life. “So aesthetic,” she noted – and it was.

INDULGE

Sweet treats from Sevenly Heart
A hidden gem for patisserie lovers, Sevenly Heart offers treats that are as delicate as they are delicious. From dainty cakes to rich ganache-filled bites, it’s the kind of spot that rewards curiosity. Nicola recommends a visit post-lunch – just enough indulgence to carry you through the afternoon.

Steak frites at L’Entrecôte de Paris
Dinner one evening was classic – steak frites at L’Entrecôte de Paris. A no-reservations spot with a cult following, where the only decision you’ll make is your wine. For Nicola, it was the perfect way to close a long day: simple, iconic, satisfying.

Ice cream and wine at Folderol
Nicola’s Paris isn’t without a little contrast – enter Folderol, where natural wine meets artisanal ice cream. It’s where locals gather, where flavours are unexpected yet somehow familiar, and where you’re encouraged to linger. Come for the curiosity, stay for the cult-favourite cones.

Wine and vinyls at Bambino
Later nights called for Bambino – a tucked-away spot spinning vinyls and pouring reds. There’s a rhythm to the space, both laidback and electric. A creative’s kind of place – one where sound, space and style all meet.

These are the kinds of memories that shape our creative world at Cendré – a city full of contrast and craft, of old stories and new rituals. We hope Nicola’s notes have inspired a future itinerary, or simply offered a quiet moment of wanderlust.

Until next time, Paris x
